Volunteers are critical to Bottomless Closet’s ability to connect women and work. We strive to provide our volunteers with meaningful opportunities that make a direct impact on our mission. Bottomless Closet customizes skills based projects for individuals as well as corporate groups.

Clothing Consultation and Coaching

• work one-on-one with clients
• select work appropriate clothing
• review resumes and prepare clients for their interviews

Nearly 100% of our clients identify Bottomless Closet as the fundamental

Inventory Management
• sort through clothing donations
• select desirable professional attire
• organize displays in the boutique manage the storage space

Each year Bottomless Closet distributes 30,000+ garments free of charge to our clients

Workshop and Curriculum
• provide workshop facilitation on topics including Professional Development, Financial Management
and Personal Enrichment

Workshops are attended by hundreds of clients every year

Professional Expertise
• consult in the area of one’s expertise e.g. website design, graphic design, writing/editing for communications

Client Follow-Up
• outreach to clients following their interviews to check on their employment status, invite them to workshops and schedule any necessary appointments

Career Days

• corporate partners host clients at their businesses to introduce women to various employment opportunities
• events may include: interview preparation presentations, job shadowing, personal testimonies and motivational speakers
