Meryl Starr is the author of Personal Organizing Workbook and The Home Organizing Workbook and has appeared on numerous shows such as HGTV’s Smart Solutions and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. She is the founder and owner of Let’s Get Organized, an organization service. Meryl teaches her clients to transform their lives with the power and freedom that comes from being organized and in control. She will be at Bottomless Closet to share some of her tips and ideas for organizing. |

Managing Up: Managing Your Manager

You want to succeed in your job and you want to be promoted but what do you do if your manager is not able to provide the feedback you need to do your job well? Or you are able to complete your assignments independently but your boss monitors your every move? The best thing to do in situations such as these is to manage your manager.
Andrea Mason of Citigroup and Joyce Jenkins will lead this workshop and give advice on getting satisfaction out of your work while getting ahead. |

Getting to Work

This is a brand new seminar focusing on all of the aspects of getting a job. A group of volunteers will lead the seminar and work one-on-one with clients to help them prepare powerful resumes, practice interviewing, and speak about dressing for interviews.
All clients who are job searching are encouraged to attend this extended session and bring several copies of their resumes with them. Please register ahead of time to reserve your spot. |

Mike Giasi, of Credit Suisse, returns for this workshop on improving self-esteem in our financial relationships. He will speak about the effects thoughts about money have on our ability to succeed and provide tools for improving financial self-esteem. |

Road to Success: Achieving Our Dream - Part I and II

Do you know what your dreams are but need a hand in reaching them? Or do you need help in defining your goals and setting priorities for your life?
Anne Colleen, certified Empowerment Coach, will lead this intensive series of 8 coaching sessions (held every other Saturday) for a small group of clients. Registration is on a first come basis. You must be able to commit to the whole series in order to attend. Only clients who attended Part I on May 17th are invited to attend this session. |

Resumes That Work

Maureen Nobile from the Bank of New York will lead this interactive session on creating an effective resume. She will discuss the content as well as the layout of a successful resume. Maureen and her colleagues will also provide feedback and constructive criticism on individual resumes. Each client should bring 3 copies of her resume to this session. |

Book Club: Woman Warrior

In The Woman Warrior, A Chinese American woman, Maxine Hong Kingston, tells of the Chinese myths, family stories and events of her childhood that have shaped her identity.
Discussions are most interesting when all participants have a solid familiarity with the story, the characters and the plot. Therefore, we ask that you attend this discussion only if you have completed the book or have read a significant portion of it. Anyone who purchases the book and brings her copy along with the receipt to the book club will be reimbursed for the cost. |

Bottomless Closet Lateness Policy: In order to ensure that all participants receive the most out of our workshops and to prevent disruptions to other clients and presenters, no one will be allowed in to any workshop after 6:45 pm, unless an earlier time is noted. Additionally, those arriving after 6:30 will not be issued any clothing points for the workshop.
