ANNUAL SPRING LUNCHEON Bottomless Closet’s Annual Luncheon is held every spring to highlight our successes and accomplishments and to raise funds to support our programming and services. Bottomless Closet relies on corporate and individual ticket and table sales to sustain the mission. A short program consists of presenting an award to a corporate honoree, key note speaker followed by a segment of the program where Bottomless Closet volunteers and clients share their compelling stories of transformations. AN EVENING OF ART UNDER THE STARS Art under the Stars silent auction and raffle is presented by Bottomless Closet’s Young Leadership Council. Guests partake in cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres while enjoying art displayed by various artists. Past silent auction items include gift baskets, gift certificates to various NYC restaurants, and luxury items such as high end jewelry and special get-aways. The evening is designed to raise funds for Bottomless Closet programs and features a client who speaks about her experience and the impact that Bottomless Closet has made in her life. REAL WOMEN ON THE RUNWAY Bottomless Closet’s “Real Women on the Runway” fashion show and cocktail party was inspired by the younger generation of Bottomless Closet volunteers to raise awareness among young NYC professionals. Bottomless Closet clients serve as the runway models, styled in chic business fashions by participating designers. Past sponsors for the event include: SKYY, Nicole Miller, The Park, and Compass Box Whiskey. Guests enjoy signature cocktails from liquor sponsors and an amazing raffle. SHOES IN THE CITY Shoes in the City is a free event and friend raiser that is held at Dylan’s Candy Bar. The event highlights the different ways people can get involved at Bottomless Closet. Guests enjoy cocktails, sweets and savories served by the Dylan’s Candy Bar staff and are asked to bring a donation of new/gently used shoes or accessories.
