Bottomless Closet Annual Fall Sale Bottomless Closet’s Annual Spring Sale will be held on Saturday, October 20, and we are looking for a few good women! Volunteers are needed to fill the following time slots: Pre-Sale Set Up Friday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 19 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Day of Sale – assist clients, work the registers and clean up Saturday, October 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 20 from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. Please let Jessica Land know which shift you would like to sign up for! jland@bottomlessclosetnyc.org

New Camera Procedure for Daytime Appointments In case you missed the Lunch & Learn, we have implemented a new procedure for client pictures. Our goal is to make the process much easier for everyone! 1.) Once your client is dressed, escort her to the front desk. 2.) Lakiesha will take her picture. 3.) Your client will meet you back in the boutique after her picture has been taken. 4.) Lakiesha will print out the picture for you to pick up at the end of the appointment. 5.) Make a copy of the picture for our records and give the original to the client, and you are done!

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities Evening Workshop Support, 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. During our evening workshops, we are in need of volunteers to handle some light administrative tasks and close up shop at the end of the night. There will be a staff member on hand to answer your questions and provide any guidance you might need. Wednesday, October 24 – Talking to Your Children Thursday, October 25 – Successful Job Search Monday, November 5 – Debt Management Wednesday, November 7 – Can you hear me now? Monday, November 8 – Interviews that Work Evening Client Appointments, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Evening opportunities are available every Tuesday. Sign up to dress clients who have recently been hired, or work on projects in the inventory room/boutique. Tuesday, April 2nd Just a reminder that we will be closed on Tuesday, October 16 due to Evening Under the Stars.
